New wagon? 4/2/11

Felt really self-conscious about how fucking loud the plates were when I dropped them, so I stopped after one rep at 365. Was hoping to get up to 405, but it won't be long now.

Comeback trail ends 3/11/11
It's over! The comeback/maintenance period is over. Here's how we ended up...
- Deadlift 5x45, 5x225, 4x315, 1x385, 0.5x435, 1x435
Hell yeah bitches. Low volume means being able to go a decent amount up. Failed on that first 435 attempt, unable to straighten up and maintain the grip. I flipped the grip (left over, right under) for the second opp and nailed it, feeling fine as fuck. Then I loaded it up to 445 and was about to grip and rip when I realized I didn't want to end my trail on what would likely be a failure. Call it mental weakness, but this is a goddamn victory.

Feels good man. No issue with the ass coming off the bench this time either. Last bench-max-effort day for a while, but I think it was a good one.
